Scholarship Description
The Daniel Snel Memorial Scholarship will provide tuition assistance to a graduating senior enrolling in an accredited undergraduate program or technical institute in the fall. The recipients of this scholarship are selected based on the applicant's family experience with substance abuse, community service involvement, and reference letter.

The Daniel Snel Memorial Scholarship will provide tuition assistance to a graduating senior enrolling in an accredited undergraduate program or technical institute in the fall. The recipients of this scholarship are selected based on the applicant's family experience with substance abuse, community service involvement, and reference letter.
Eligibility
- Current high school seniors attending school in Hunterdon County
- Anticipating completion of high school diploma at the time of application
- Carrying a minimum 2.0 GPA at the time of application
- Enrolling full-time in an accredited U.S. undergraduate program or technical institute for fall
- Submit letter of recommendation. Letters from relatives will not be accepted.
- Submit a typewritten resume (12 point font) detailing education, work experience (if applicable), accolades, achievements, extra-curricular activities, and community service/involvement.
- Submit 1-2 page essay on the following topic:
- Describe how addiction negatively impacts the entire family unit. How was your life was negatively impacted by addiction in your family, what resources were you able to rely on for help, and what efforts have you made to create better awareness or resources for the community affected by addiction?
